Robert has worked in the construction industry for the whole of his career since 1995 across a wide range of roles in Technology, Architecture, Measured Survey and Fit-out.

BIM has been at the heart of his work since 2001 when he started his first business. He has been an active member of the digital transformation community since then participating in the shaping of Government mandated Level 2 BIM.

He’s a regular speaker and writer on the digital transformation including editing the RIBA book ‘BIM in Practice – Illustrated Case Studies’ which documented the experiences of 10 smaller architects over a wide range of topics through their use of Level 2 BIM.

Prior to starting EvrBilt, he worked for 3 years as director of digital built environment at SUMO Survey where he was recruited to build their digital and BIM offering for survey across the company.

He’s an engagement lead in Survey4BIM, the survey focused BIM4 which is part of the UK BIM Alliance and has been Race Director for the Little Britain Challenge Cup the largest and longest running construction and property sailing regatta.
